Biography
The Frail are a melodic metal/metal-core band hailing from Secunda, Mpumalanga. Their sound can be described as a enigmatic mixture of alluring melodies and dissonant crushing heavy parts laced with a powerful thought provoking message. Lyrically the band carries a positive message dealing with everyday issues.
The band has been described as having elements of the following bands

The band consists of:
Matt Austin (Guitar)
Hein Abbot (Guitar)
Justin Brown(Bass)
Frank Kotze (Vocals)
Troy Mitchell(Drums)
The band released their Debut E.P in 2008 entitled “A Collision of Hearts” which received rave reviews and received substantial airplay on national and college radio stations and even attracted the attention of international record labels.
2009 sees the band begin work on their as yet untitled debut album. The band describes the new material as the next step in the evolution of the band. If you enjoyed "A Collision of Hearts" you will be blown away by the album. Everything has taken to the next level. The playing, musicianship and song writing its like day and night.
The band began recording sessions for the debut album in March 2009, again with Jared Gunston who they worked with on there E.P. recording and co-producing the album.
The album is set for a winter 2009 release! Be sure to expect something special!
