- in 1965 - (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction by the Rolling Stones was released in the UK. It had been a #1 hit in the US charts but released was delayed due to the success of the "Got Live If You Want It" EP.
The record sailed to the top of the UK charts and Satisfaction slowly became one of the most covered Jagger/Richards songs, with versions being recorded by the likes of Otis Redding and Devo to name just two.
