After a succesful event at Rumours earlier in the year, The Emalyth Team couldnt resist hitting up the West Rand again for a variety of bands-from reggae ska, death metal and everything in between, Emalyth presents Jekyll and Hide and Rumours Lounge, Waltevreden Park.
Emalyth is a brand focused on providing exposure to the arts that arise from alternative subcultures. The brand was started at the end of 2009, with its main focus being on metal events in Gauteng. Since its inception, Emalyth has hosted many successful and memorial events including Masque of Comus, The Emalyth Arts Expo and Best of Bass.

- in 1962 - "Blues Incorporated" played their first gig at an Ealing club. They were one of the first active white blues bands on either side of the Atlantic. Led by French born guitarist "Alexis Korner", joined by the likes of "Charlie Watts", "Andy Hoogenboom" and acclaimed blues harmonica player "Cyril Davies". Later line-ups included "Mick Jagger" and "Jack Bruce".
The band was an important factor in the development of the London R&B scene that spawned the "Rolling Stones", "the Yardbirds" and the "Pretty Things" amount others.
